ABOUT COLLEGE ADMISSION
Admission is through JAMB. Girls and boys of not less than 18 years are eligible to write the aptitude test organized by the College. For now, admission is conducted once a year and admission done once between September to November each year. The course in General Nursing is 4 years (2 years for ND I & II and 2 years for HND I & II).
Five credit ‘O’ level passes in WASC/SCE/GCE or NECO, NABTEB or combined results (WASC & NECO) at not more than two (2) sittings. Subjects passed at credit level must include English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics. Candidates must also meet all institutional requirements. NABTEB stands alone; it is NOT combined with any.
ADMISSION POLICY
Candidates can be considered for admission through JAMB after passing at the required cut off point and aptitude test organized by the College and meeting the expected standard at the interview which will be conducted thereafter. This is also subject to having passed the SSCE (WAEC), or (NECO) combined or NABTEB or its approved equivalent at credit level in at least five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, and provided that all five subjects are taken and are passed at not more than two sittings. At the time of registration, each candidate will be required to present the originals of the certificates on the basis of which the offer of admission has been made.
If it is discovered at any time that a candidate does not possess any of the qualifications, which he/she claims to have obtained, he/she will be required to withdraw from the College. Students shall on admission pay the fees prescribed by regulations.
